FetchEyewear recently opened up a retail location in Portland, Oregon. This is the first time the glasses company has had it’s own retail location to sell direct to consumers. FetchEyewear is already in many retail optometry stores across the country but this new Portland store will serve as the main headquarters and flagship store.
Because of the opening of the new retail operations FetchEyewear has temporarily stopped doing their in-home try-on program. On the website a slider says;
Try at home temporarily unavailable as we transition.
No word on when they will bring the in-home try-on back. Like other online prescription glasses companies the home try-on program has free shipping and free returns.
FetchEyewear has made a name for itself in the glasses industry the last couple years for designing all their frames in house and donating 100% of profits to animal rescues groups and charities. The company is especially involved with changing attitudes regarding Pitbulls and what is known as “breed discrimination” attitudes and laws across the United States.
